The stories in this collection thread together the lives of an assortment of characters in the context of Christianity and what living our faith ought to be. I began writing them in 2001 after writing the Introductory Essay. I began with a soundtrack, a list of songs that I felt expressed what I was trying to get across with this piece of writing. I created my main characters and wrote the first story, and then I got distracted from the project (a common problem when you have ADHD).
In fall 2020, I began to feel a stirring again, a need to express many of the sentiments included in the Introductory Essay. I wasn't sure how to start, though, so it was really just a constant sense of discomfort.
Then, one day when I was poking around my computer, I found the beginnings of the project and decided to finish it.
